About the TRAU Master Class

As their practices grow, Elite Plan Advisors struggle to manage people, technology, and operations.  As the pressure for lower fees continues, profit-margins can only be maintained by improved operating efficiency.

TRAU will conduct two "invitation only" Master Classes in November and December of 2017 focusing on helping advisors to better manage their retirement practice.  After the two-day interactive study group, participants will leave with a personalized business plan and will receive the assistance of a business coach trained and overseen by TRAU.

Through its collaboration with UCLA Anderson School of Management Executive Education and in delivering over 250 TPSU training programs for DC plan sponsors, TRAU has observed that adults learn more by interaction with peers.

TRAU’s Master Class includes six interactive sessions led by leading advisors and industry experts and features intense one-hour interactive discussions within smaller groups on the following practice management areas:

  1. Client servicing and engagement

  2. Managing people and operations

  3. Managing technology

  4. Client acquisition

  5. Managing Partners

  6. Succession planning

There is no cost to advisors accepted into the program which is sponsored by SSGA.

Programs will be held at the University of Chicago Gleacher Center on November 14th & 15th and Fordham Law School on December 4th & 5th with minimum requirements of $250 million DC assets under management and 10 DC plans.
